Ferry Command
North Atlantic Aviation Museum, Gander, NFLD

Canadians and Americans fabricated planes for the European Allies. In order to transport them overseas, RAF Ferry Command and U.S Air Transport flew them over from Gander, Newfoundland, to Aldergrove in Ireland and later to Prestwick. This painting depicts the flight of the first seven Lockheed Hudsons that flew from Gander to Europe on November 10, 1940.

The artwork is mounted for permanent display on the ceiling as a skylight at the North Atlantic Aviation Museum in Gander, Newfoundland.
